Postby baldy316 » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:33 am

hello,
I am using achi ir6000 using ps3 support jig
this is my profile for ps3 mobo
TH set at 3cm
bottom heater set to 320
1--step/0/540 Temp of tc showing 145c
2--1/175/47
3--1/190/64
4--1/200/36
5--1/210/70
6--1/225/60
7--end
everything yesterday whilst building profile was spot one.
today near end of run bottom n top heater started glowing.
do you alter height of TH as you go though profile or leave it set.

The only time you would move the TH during re-flow is to regulate the temperature....i.e. If the temp rises above 224-226 DegC then raise TH a little (1-1.5cm).... :ugeek:

i use this machine and dont have to move the top heater until profile is finnished now i have it set up nicely, couple points to consider, are u using it with the jig sat just on the machine??, are u placing the tc in the exact same point each time? and it does have to be prettyt much exactly imo, moving a bit does result in slight temp differnces, are the enviromental conditionms the same, i.e u dont have a door open one time then closed the next??
